Your missions

Role:  Data Architect

Location:  Remote first, with travel to London expected.

Recently listed as a "RegTech Top Performer" in Market Fintech's RegTech Supplier Performance Report, CUBE is pioneering the development of machine automated compliance.

We are a global RegTech business defining and implementing the gold standard of regulatory intelligence and change for the financial services industry. We deliver our services through a SaaS platform, powered by an innovative combination of AI and proprietary data ontology, to simplify the complex and everchanging world of compliance for our clients.

At CUBE, we are creating the future and are a company rooted in strong values, team spirit and commitment to our customers and wider communities. We serve some of the largest financial institutions globally and are expanding our footprint very fast. As we do so, we are keen for new talent to join us and realize their full potential to grow into leadership positions within the business.

Our Products:

RegPlatform is a technology platform that streamlines regulatory change management. It provides firms with a one-stop, continuously maintained inventory of global regulations, with effortless horizon scanning, integration capabilities and workflow management. RegPlatform combines industry leading AI technology with expert validated insights to simplify the complexities of multi-jurisdictional regulatory content.

RegBrain allows customers to apply CUBE's AI models directly to their own content, enabling faster release and feedback cycles. Our flagship AI services will be included, spanning structural detection, classification, entity extraction, summarisation, and recommendations. Available to customers and partners as APIs and via a UI.

Role mission:

As part of its recent acquisitions, CUBE is undertaking a significant set of integration work. You will be part of the data team responsible for ingesting the acquired data and aligning the data models in order for CUBE to deliver a coherent customer offering.

You will also advise the Technology team on the suitability of data technologies to enable CUBE to continue to satisfy the growing demands of its internal and AI teams.

Bringing 10+ years of relevant experience to this role you can expect to:

  • Work with internal and external parties to design and deliver technology projects from initiation to closure.
  • Work with the Customer and Product Teams to understand requirements and roadmaps.

     Responsibilities:

Work with the wider team (BAU and integration streams) to:

    • Understand gaps and overlaps between the current and acquired data and data model(s).
    • Deliver a data target state.
    • Deliver a pragmatic plan to get to the target state.
    • Align architectural strategy with business objectives and external standards (EDMC, CDMC et al.).
    • Provide data and technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
    • Create architectural documentation and diagrams to effectively communicate the design and architecture of systems to stakeholders and team members.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
    • Strong understanding of architectural styles and design patterns.
    • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
    • Expertise in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, etc.
    • Familiarity with various databases and architectures.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Experience with cloud architecture (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
    • Experience working with large scale Information and Data Architectures.
