We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Benefits Administration Specialist to join our team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring our clients receive outstanding benefits administration and support.

Job Summary:

  • As a Benefits Administration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the enrollment management of healthcare and insurance benefits. You will utilize your expertise in tech-based platforms such as Employee Navigator, Ease, and more.
  • Your mission is to construct and maintain an efficient administration platform, ensuring seamless client experiences and high satisfaction levels. Your duties include managing details related to company and employee information within the realms of benefits, HR, and payroll.
  • You will handle data from various sources (e.g., CSV, PDF, other systems), meticulously entering it into our online benefits administration system, managing an array of data including demographics, benefit plans, and healthcare product elections. While technical expertise is not a prerequisite, a solid understanding of API, EDI, and custom file integrations is essential.
  • We are committed to your growth, offering comprehensive training in employee benefits, payroll, and HR, particularly within the U.S. context. This training encompasses proficiency in essential online benefits administration systems and adherence to top-tier security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master and manage Employee Navigator, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  • Spearhead the delivery of comprehensive benefits administration services, including platform implementation and maintenance.
  • Coordinate benefits administration, support sales processes, oversee data imports, and system updates.
  • Ensure data accuracy, importing and configuring data to align with customer workflows.
  • Oversee the maintenance of client sites, including updates and testing.
    Address and resolve data discrepancies and serve as a pivotal contact post-implementation.
  • Engage in ongoing training and provide exceptional support to assigned clients.

Qualifications:

  • Integrity and trustworthiness, handling sensitive information with utmost discretion.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in benefits, payroll, or finance is preferred.
  • Fluent in English, with exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, with a knack for web-based applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team, showcasing analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A self-starter, eager to learn and adapt to new processes.

Additional Information:

  • The selected candidate will undergo a comprehensive 4-week training program, including weekly assessments to monitor progress.
  • Training is paid and can be completed remotely, culminating in assignment to a U.S.-based client.
  • A 40-hour work week is expected, with a requirement for a 6-hour overlap with the client's working hours.
  • Depending on client needs, work may require presence in our Bogota office.
  • October 1st - December 23rd is the peak season for insurance administration. This may impact some vacation requests.
