Job Title: Compliance Support Specialist
Location: Remote (EST Timezone)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9AM to 5PM EST

Job Description:

Join our dedicated team in the fast-paced mortgage industry where we prioritize compliance, efficiency, and service excellence. We are seeking a Compliance Support Specialist to support our Mortgage Licensing and Compliance Lead, ensuring seamless processing of new licenses and adherence to regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • License Documentation: Prepare and submit paperwork for new licenses using provided data and resources.
  • Data Management: Document key data points used frequently in paperwork to streamline processes and minimize repetitive inquiries.
  • System Learning: Adapt and learn new systems effectively, including the mortgage NMLS system, to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Deadline Management: Maintain a strong commitment to meeting all deadlines, and understanding the critical impact on business operations.
  • Communication: Provide clear and professional communication with loan officers and other stakeholders. Handle interactions with a high level of diplomacy and efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on the accuracy of information and document formatting.
  • Strong Written and Oral English: Excellent communication skills are essential. Ability to interact effectively with professionals who may have limited patience for errors or misunderstandings.
  • Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in Notion for task management, G-suite for general productivity, Email communications, and Airtable for project management.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in new software and compliance systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a compliance or administrative role within the mortgage or financial services industry.
