About the Recruitment Team
We’re a team of Recruiters who partner with our business leaders to build and execute recruitment strategies that support the growth of Wealthsimple. We’re a full-stack team that sources, coordinates, interviews, advises, and delivers exceptional experiences, to both the teams we partner with and our candidates!

This position is a 6 month contract to support both technical and non-technical teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Partner with both technical and non-technical teams to deeply understand their hiring needs: You'll manage the full cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews and managing the offer process.
  • Provide support to hiring managers and teams throughout the entire hiring process (defining job descriptions, coaching and consulting from initial screens through offer negotiation and onboarding, etc.).
  • Innovate on ways to build a strong talent pipeline, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience that elevates our employer brand.
  • Work closely with our broader People Ops team to ensure we take into account every component of an effective and equitable search.

  • We're looking for someone who:
  • Can build trusted relationships with hiring teams and candidates.
  • Has exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Is eager to dive into hiring data to improve performance and/or processes: You proactively search for opportunities to improve recruitment practices.
  • Is extremely organized with the ability to multitask in our fast-paced environment.
  • Is proficient with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software (we use Lever as our ATS and GoodTime as our scheduling platform).
