Power Platform Developer

The Opportunity:

For an organization to transform in today’s digital world, it needs to properly collect, store, and organize its data. Effective data management can enable more efficient operations, yielding more growth. As a data analytics professional, you know how to apply your creative thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for an experienced Power Platform Developer like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for our Navy clients.  

This role involves extensive work with Microsoft's Power Platform, specifically Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps, and the Office 365 Suite of tools to support ongoing and future enhancements of our Navy Training Process Workflow Automation Tool. You will be instrumental in deploying, refining, and improving these solutions while driving further innovation in process automation and data management for our clients. On our team, you will develop, implement, and optimize workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will also manage and improve digital signature workflows and data collection features within the tool and participate in beta testing and refinement of new features, including user acceptance testing.

You’ll grow your technical experience as you assist in the design, definition, development, and testing of cloud solution components, serving as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

You Have:   

  • 3+ years of experience with using the Power Platform Suite, including Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint for centralized file management and version control
  • Experience in handling the full application lifecycle management of a project from concept through deployment and support
  • Experience with business process automation, system integration, and human systems integration
  • Ability to work on complex projects and deliver innovative solutions
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience with digital signature integration and role-based access control systems
  • Experience with creating tools for data analysis and project management in a defense or government setting
  • Experience with supporting the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics, and Business Systems, including PEO MLB, PEO Digital, or PEO C4I
  • Experience with data connectors for common databases, services, and APIs
  • Experience in extending Power Platform capabilities through custom development using Power Platform CLI, Azure Functions, or Azure Logic App
  • Knowledge of NAVWAR and NAVAIR standards and requirements and DoD and Navy Flankspeed environments
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent collaboration skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
