Your missions

Position Summary

The FCRM Analyst is responsible for reviewing alerts and reports to identify potential fraud, money laundering, and suspected Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control OFAC) sanction program violations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze Fraud, AML and Watchlist alerts generated from automated monitoring systems or ad hoc reports to identify potential financial crimes.
  • Perform an initial review on potentially suspicious activity to determine if the activity should be escalated to a case for further investigation.
  • Review account activity and discuss with Busey associates to try to determine if activity is suspicious or illegal.
  • Document the scope of your review and your conclusions in the FCRM case management system.
  • Provide information for various regulatory and analytical reports.
  • Actively participate in regular team meetings where financial crime trends and potential counter measures are discussed.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the FCRM Investigations’ alert review procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Ability to:

  • Multi-task and work independently
  • Perform duties with attention to detail, high level of accuracy
  • Prioritize work to meet deadlines

Education and Training

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Remote Eligible In: Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin
