POSITION SUMMARY
You are the first touchpoint in the sales cycle, representing both the Clearwater and Redspin brands in responding to inquiries that flow through marketing channels and reaching out to prospective clients who fit our target profile. Your day-to-day as a Sales Development Representative typically includes:
• Researching and creating targeted lists of people (prospects) who could benefit from Clearwater and Redspin’s managed services, consulting services, and software offerings
• Developing curated, targeted prospect lists
• Reaching out to prospects to identify needs and pain points
• Guide qualified prospects onto the next stage of the sales process by booking a discovery conversation between the prospect and the Clearwater/Redspin Sales team
• Continuously improve sales development skills and learn the different career paths to create a lucrative future in cybersecurity sales.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Utilize Salesforce.com, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn connections/messages, cold calling, and email to create qualified leads
• Identify the prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
• Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
• Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and sales executives
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED· 2-3 years working experience in a Sales Development Representative role with strong track record of achieving KPIs· Prior experience in cybersecurity and/or highly regulated industries such as healthcare and government a plus
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Ability synthesize information
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM software
- Proficiency with the following is desirable: SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo
- Bachelor’s degree
WORK ENVIRONMENT· Currently Clearwater is an entirely “virtual” company and all colleagues work remote· Colleagues receive a Company issued laptop and the Company provides subscriptions to Salesforce.com, Microsoft On-Line Services, Encryption tools, Data backup, and other tools selected as standard by the Company· Colleagues provide their own printer/scanner, computer audio capability, cell phone, Internet service, and Microsoft Office software.
