Job Overview: 

Apollo Intelligence is poised to be the leader in market research, insights, and analytics for pharma and life sciences and the HR Director will play a key role devising and implementing progressive HR and talent solutions to help Apollo Intelligence achieve its full potential in Accelerating Health Innovation.

 The primary responsibilities of this senior HR role are to utilize organizational data and talent insights to develop and execute people strategies that elevate the employee experience to drive growth and profitability, and to oversee all HR activities, policies, and programs for the assigned client(s) organization(s), ensuring compliance with state, federal, and country laws and regulations.  The HR Director is also charged with partnering with the executive team to create and maintain a positive and productive culture that aligns with Apollo’s mission and core values. 

This role, located in Bangalore, India will report to the Chief HR Officer and matrix to the General Manager of India Operations.  Since this role will support business partners and teams across US, EU and India, it will need some time zones overlap. 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Model and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to solve problems and drive continuous improvement of talent priorities.
  • Collaborate with and influence assigned executive(s) and leaders of client group(s) to prioritize solutions that accelerate the achievement of business goals through Human Capital strategies.
  • Work across boundaries and leverage best practices to help shape, align and operationalize mid- and long-term talent programs including leadership development, diversity & inclusion, performance management, succession planning, career pathing, organizational development, culture & employee engagement, and compensation strategy.
  • Lead talent mobility, recruitment, and onboarding processes to support assigned client(s) to scale by ensuring Apollo has qualified and diverse talent who share our core values and passion for accelerating health innovation.  
  • Provide employees with people counsel, advising on team member relations, conflict resolution, organizational policy, and compliance issues with the appropriate sense of urgency, and delivering a full range of generalist services. 
  • Respond to regulatory and non-regulatory complaints and identify ER trends to identify systemic issues and determine strategic solutions.  
  • Roll up sleeves and pivot from the strategic to the tactical by maintaining employment records, advising and processing compensation changes, promotions and terminations, preparing offer letters, scheduling candidate interviews, and completing ad-hoc projects as required.  
  • Oversee relevant HR related contractors and vendor relationships.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent management, diversity and inclusion, total rewards, and org development.
  • Foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement by actively sharing best practices, providing and soliciting feedback to enhance team effectiveness, and with timely involvement of relevant stakeholders in decision-making processes. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, HR or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience with at least two of the following disciplines: change management, end to end talent management, diversity and inclusion, total rewards, organizational development.
  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience as an HRBP working directly with senior leadership in a fast-growth, evolving technology organization.
  • Demonstrated experience of the employee life cycle, employment processes, employee relations, and compliance in US and India.
  • Experience working in a diverse, multicultural environment and the ability to be culturally sensitive and inclusive.
  • SPHR/PHR certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Excellent writing skills and experience responding to regulatory inquiries 
  • Must be able to travel at least 20% of the time. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
