As a Senior SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client’s web and mobile applications. You will work closely with our team to design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions. Your expertise in PHP, JavaScript, and mobile and web app testing will be essential in driving our client’s testing strategy and ensuring their products meet the highest standards of quality. • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing framework for web and mobile applications.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
  
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing of applications.
  
• Develop and implement testing strategies and best practices to improve overall product quality.
  
• Conduct backend testing on our PHP Laravel code base as well as front-end testing on our React and React Native applications.
  
• Execute end-to-end testing to ensure comprehensive coverage of all product features.
  
• Mentor and guide the team in writing testable code to ensure code quality.
  
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our testing practices remain cutting-edge.
  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and continuous testing.
  
• Develop and execute load and performance tests to ensure the scalability and reliability of our applications.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices.
  
• Perform cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
  
• Manage test data for automated tests, including creation, maintenance, and cleanup.
  
• Conduct cloud-based testing using tools like Sauce Labs or BrowserStack.
  
• Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities in applications.
  
• Participate in Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices with tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
  
• Monitor application performance using tools like New Relic or Dynatrace.
  

Requirements

Data Mastery: Your Toolkit for Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and testing.
  
• Strong proficiency in PHP and JavaScript.
  
• Proficiency in mobile app testing and web testing.
  
• Extensive experience in testing web and mobile applications.
  
• Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks such as PHPUnit, Behat, Codeception, PHPSpec, Laravel Dusk, Jest, Mocha and Chai, Enzyme, React Testing Library, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, OWASP ZAP, Jenkins.
  
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  
• Experience with DevOps and AWS is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
  
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  
• Experience in API testing and using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  
• Knowledge of database testing, including SQL proficiency.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
  
• Experience in BDD/TDD practices.
  
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  
• Familiarity with accessibility testing and tools like Axe or Wave.
