Re:Car dba SLATE is a new US company that is exploring development in the electric vehicle space.

What we are looking for:

 We are seeking a hands-on Head of Creative to lead our creative team with a mastery of creative design, brand identity, art direction, campaign creation, social content creation, and event guidance. This role should have a penchant for an ideas first mentality – the ideal candidate works cross functionally to come up with creative ideas to connect with our audience and bring them to life.

• Oversee and guide creation of assets, campaigns and design elements to support campaigns, social, brand, design,
• Manage project schedule and timing in partnership with broader marketing organizations.
• Collaborate closely with Production and Studio to execute creative vision.
• Be an idea machine – when partnered with social, brand and growth marketing leads, be an idea and concept generating mind that can meld goals with creative output that is deeply customer first.
• Expected to be expert level in and able to give feedback on design, copy, production, motion, photography and video.

What you bring to the team:

• 10+ years’ experience, 5+ leading a team of creatives
• Proven experience as a Head of Creative, Creative Director or in a similar leadership role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects and campaigns.
• Expertise in graphic design, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.).
• Strong conceptual thinking and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate creative teams.
• Knowledge of current design trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Must love cars! You’ll be thinking about cars all day every day, and it’s the most fun when you love cars.

Location

Remote is acceptable, but we prefer NY Metro (able to commute to NYC if needed) or Troy, MI.

Base salary - US wide $118,850.97 to $251,648.73

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Re:Car dba SLATE reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.  In addition to base pay, Re:Car dba SLATE also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs – 401k match, annual bonus and company equity, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans, HSA/FSA.
