WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Title: Senior Global Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager

The Senior Global Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager is a crucial role within our global software company, responsible for overseeing the organization, drafting, and distribution of financial reports. This position requires advanced technical accounting expertise to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other international statutory requirements. Additionally, the Senior Manager will lead highly technical accounting research, manage relationships with external auditors, implement new accounting standards, and provide support and training to the finance and accounting team worldwide.

  • Organize, draft, and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting documents, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and international statutory requirements.
  • Conduct technical accounting research, interpret and apply standards to complex transactions, and document the Company's position in comprehensive memos.
  • Analyze global financial and operational data for reporting and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all global financial reports to internal and external stakeholders, with proper documentation.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, serving as the Company’s point of contact and developing necessary memos and analyses.
  • Implement new accounting standards and stay updated on proposed accounting and SEC reporting matters.
  • Provide technical accounting support and training to the finance and accounting team worldwide.
  • Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis group for forecasts and budgets.
  • Lead coordination, review, and analysis of valuations by external consultants.
  • Work with multiple key stakeholders to determine accounting treatment for complex transactions.
  • Update and maintain accounting policies manual for compliance with U.S. GAAP and international requirements.
  • Review and approve financial reports prepared by other functional groups to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare internal monthly reporting package and KPI package for circulation.
  • Review financial statements and reports of international subsidiaries to ensure statutory reporting deadlines are met.
  • Own and understand all reporting requested by the accounting team and proactively manage an updated reporting calendar.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in technical accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a public accounting firm or a multinational corporation.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.

PREFERRED:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in the software or technology industry.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).

  • Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements.
