These are the behaviors and values you’ll need for success at Logitech. In this role you will:

- Conduct research on emerging technologies and materials to identify potential applications in our products;
- Develop a deep understanding of different materials properties and their implications on product design; 
- Design, develop, and test prototypes, utilizing a variety of materials and technologies;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, other engineering teams, on new idea/design verification/qualification; 
- Provide the training internal(CMF team) and external(other groups)

Key Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

- Nice to have BS/BA degree in mechanical, chemical or material engineering and sciences and Design
- 3+ years of experience on material development and application, and a proficient knowledge of various manufacturing processes(injection molding,extrusion, stamping) is a benefit for the innovation of new processes and new materials.
- Proficiency in prototyping tools and techniques, such as 3D printing, CNC machining, and rapid prototyping.
- Understand of product marketing basic, business and innovation methodology
- Willing to get hands dirty by going-out to interact with suppliers, manufacturers in order to drive to a solution
- Good communication skills, good teamwork
- Mature problem-solving skills on complex technical issues
- Project management skills to drive the new technology development
- Ability to travel(Europe and far east)
