Job Description for Bookkeeper

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and potentially Sage
  
• Prepare compilation files and assist with financial statement preparation
  
• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  
• Provide support in other areas as needed, such as business development tasks
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably with exposure to QuickBooks Online and Xero
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
  
• Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
  

Scope

• Monday to Friday
  
• 8 hours a day - 3 hours within 8am to 5pm Pacific, the rest if flexible
