Job Summary:

The IT Identity Governance and Endpoint Management Team Lead is responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of user identities, and access controls within the organization's IT systems and endpoints. This position plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining the organization's identity governance framework, ensuring secure and controlled access to IT systems and endpoints, and mitigating the risks associated with user identities and access controls.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and managing a team of IT identity and endpoint engineers: this involves implementing and maintaining identity governance processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

  • Managing user access rights, roles, and permissions, as well as monitoring and reviewing user access activities.

  • Oversee the administration and configuration of identity and access management (IAM) systems and tools, such as identity management solutions, directory services, and access control systems. Ensure the accurate and efficient provisioning and deprovisioning of user accounts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Infosec, compliance, and audit, to ensure the alignment of identity governance practices with overall IT security and compliance objectives. Provide subject matter expertise and support during audits and compliance assessments.

  • Document identity governance processes, procedures, and system configurations. Prepare and present reports on identity governance metrics, performance, and compliance status to stakeholders, including IT management and auditors.

  • Develop and execute strategies for the management, deployment, and maintenance of endpoints such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other peripherals.

  • Oversee the inventory, provisioning, deprovisioning, and ongoing support of endpoints, ensuring that they adhere to security, configuration, and compliance standards.

  • Implement and maintain security measures on endpoints, encryption, patch management, and access controls.

  • Create and maintain documentation related to endpoint management processes, procedures, and configurations. Generate reports on endpoint inventory, compliance, performance, and security.

  • Handle and resolve endpoint-related incidents, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide guidance and support to team members when needed.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance endpoint management efficiency, user experience, and security.

 

Required Skills:

  • Good technical leadership skills to provide direction, guidance, and support to the team.

  • Advanced knowledge in Identity Governance and Access, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access policies, etc.

  • Vulnerability management expertise.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, Jamf, Autopilot, Jira/ServiceNow and more.

  • Strong scripting skills, such as PowerShell, ansible, etc.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.  

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. 

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities. 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
