Sr. Credit Specialist

Position Summary 
The Sr. Credit Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our credit department. This position will provide credit review and risk analysis on new deal approval. This is a key position and we are looking for a team player that can handle a multitude of duties/responsibilities, support cross-functional teams, and assist with special projects.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages and administers a large pipeline of credit reviews in a fast-paced high demand environment.
  • Performs credit checks and reviews applications.
  • Provide the final credit approval on signed contract documents.
  • Responsible for ensuring electronic credit documentation accurately reflects the conditions of approval.
  • Resolve all credit application issues.
  • Work directly with customers, partners, and internal teams; providing updates and fielding questions.


Requirements (Education, Experience, Certifications, and other skills)

  • Minimum two years of credit review, accounts receivable, collections, or customer service experience required.
  • Excellent communicator with ability to effectively and appropriately interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
  • Process-minded with the ability to problem solve, catch patterns and give advice on troubleshooting.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or 3-5 years equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and an ability to work on complex issues.
  • The ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines is necessary.
  • Highly organized, self-disciplined and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of FICO credit scoring, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and the Fair Credit and Reporting Act (FCRA) is preferred.
  • Call center experience preferred.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Power BI, Tableau or other reporting experience preferred but not required.


Work Details
Remote in any state Sunrun operates
4 - 10 hour shifts
Wed- Sat (4, 10 hour shifts) 

Physical Demands
Ability to perform normal office duties
Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work
Ability to interact and participate in meetings

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$20.36 to $27.15
