Who You Are

Field Sales Specialist focuses on presale opportunity for Topcon’s new Compact Solution Products. The Compact Solution Products consist of technology for the mid to small size contractor.  Our products are workflow solutions to increase the productivity and efficiency of targeted markets. This is a customer facing sales position. We are targeting the Mini Excavator and CTL market for this new product line.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

In this dynamic sales role, you'll lead the charge in:

  • Build relationships with dealers by providing sales training utilizing strong demonstration and closing skills.
  • Assist in onsite customer engagements.
  • Attend Tradeshows
  • Provide field demonstrations for layout.
  • Grow and maintain the distribution network.

The ideal candidate for this position will bring a combination of the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of how a contractor bids, executes and achieves maximum profit.
  • Previous experience with GNSS positioning, machine control sales, or civil construction experience desired.
  • Strong sales and demonstration skills. 5+ years sales experience preferred. 
  • Remote work/home office with the ability to travel 80% in North America to support dealer network, tradeshows, and other activities.
