As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for supporting clients and delivering Parsyl’s best-in-class customer journey. You will support clients from First Notice of Loss (FNOL) until settlement, as well as supporting recovery and subrogation efforts. The role requires cross-collaboration across Parsyl's teams, from Data Science to Finance. The Claims Adjuster will report to the Head of Claims. This role can be based from a remote, home-office, with a preference for candidates either in Denver, CO or along the US East Coast.

In this role, you will lead on:

  • Cargo and Logistics Claims
    • Customer Service: Deliver best-in-class service to customers from FNOL to file closure.
    • Claims Handling: Investigate, adjust, and settle cargo and logistics claims.
    • Recovery and Subrogation: Support recovery, subrogation, and salvage operations.
    • Client Engagement: Have the opportunity to represent Parsyl in broker and client engagement.
    • Claims Management: Lead claim management and act as the principal contact throughout the life cycle of a claim.
    • Network Management: Manage a network of Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), surveyors, and lawyers.
  • Internal Process Optimization
    • Process Refinement: Analyze, refine, and iterate on internal processes to improve efficiency and ensure accuracy.
    • Reporting: Prepare monthly reports for internal and external audiences.
    • Trend Analysis: Work closely with the Partnerships and Data teams to identify developing claims trends.
