Job Summary

To carry out and ensure the accuracy and impartiality of compliance audits and reviews in accordance with the quality standards of Logistics UK. Part of the role is to analyse and present comprehensive management information reports, as well as provide training to customers on Logistics UK software, products, and services. Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships is key to retaining contracts and drive growth. Supporting customers in implementing a continuous improvement program, identifying areas of non-compliance, and delivering customised solutions to meet their specific operational needs. Provide assistance to other colleagues within the department and the organisation.

Full training and support will be given to the successful applicant.

The successful candidate will be required to travel frequently and occasionally have overnight stays as part of the job responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out compliance audits and reviews in accordance with legislation.
  • Conduct compliance audits and reviews in a timely, systematic, and appropriate manner with a level of sampling
  • that ensures an informed decision.
  • Gather information by effectively asking, listening, and observing, as well as reviewing documents, records, and
  • data.
  • Present compliance management information to customers through effective communication.
  • Ensure that all compliance audits and reviews are clear and transparent, and that any decisions are supported by
  • adequate evidence.
  • Complete compliance reports that are accurate, objective, and meet the agreed upon SLAs.
  • Undertake additional tasks as requested by the Operations Management Team.
  • Demonstrate the Logistics UK’s core values (Excellence, Dynamism, Togetherness, Reputation).

Requirements

  • A professional and self-assured communication style with the ability to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels, using a variety of communication methods (letters, reports, e-mail, telephone, presentations).
  • Able to work independently, objectively, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work with honesty and integrity.
  • Team player who is able to work across departmental.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different situations.
  • Demonstrate an interest in continuing professional development.
  • Set a good example and demonstrate the Logistics UK’s core values.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, including all Microsoft applications.
  • Full UK Drivers License.
  • Willing to travel, including overnight stays where necessary.
  • Flexibility in hours is required because some early starts and late finishes may be required to meet the needs of
  • customers.
