NTT DATA's Client is looking for a Sr. Oracle DBA with Goldengate and Exadata to join the Database Engineering team to sit fully-remote within US (preferably PST time zone)! This will be a part of the Database Services Organization which is a Shared Service group at a global Life Sciences company. The Sr. DBA's typical day will consist of 40% hands-on performance tuning in Oracle, 40% working with Oracle/Goldengate internals,
10% database backup/recovery efforts and 10% working on AWS. This person will work closely with fellow Sr. DBA's and Architects, but will be expected to come into the role and hit the ground running.
Must Haves:
- 8+ years of Oracle Database experience
- 8+ years of Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) experience
- 8+ years of experience with AWR Review
- 8+ years of experience with standby database setup and support.
- 6+ years of experience with Goldengate replication
- 3+ years of experience with AWS Technologies like RDS (Oracle and Aurora), Redshift and S3
- Expert with performance tuning of Oracle Databases and Goldengate
THESE ARE A HUGE PLUS:
- Experience working with Exadata and ZFS
- Experience working with standby setup with broker configuration
- Experience working with Goldengate with big data adapter

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $50.00 MIN TO $62.00/hr.. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
