Job Title:      Principal Developer, SAP Logistics 
Salary Range:    $151,154 - $172,700 per year 
Location:    2400 SW 145th Avenue, Miramar, FL 33027

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead software developer for Application Development programs, with a focus on SAP systems. 
• Design entire solutions in environments, accounting for holistic solutions, short and long-term functionality, and sustainability.  
• Research/troubleshoot, maintain & configure software, create test strips and test applications and interfaces. 
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on projects schedule and run meetings, coordinate with the business and other key stakeholders.
• Research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products. 
• Make recommendations to enhance processes, procedures and policies relating to systems functioning or performance.
• Spearhead the build-out or expansion of coding standards initiatives.
• Keep abreast of software development code, develop best practices, and drive implementation of the same. 
• Participate in Agile teams.
• Provide coaching and development to junior developers of coding best practices, configuration best practices, technical design and quality assurance. 
• Improve efficiency of team to resolve problems. 
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement opportunities for Application Development programs, driving technical solution validity. 
• Oversee the work of 3rd party Development teams. 
• Coordinate issues resolution activities with varied stakeholders.
• Review entire problem logs and identify recurring problems, and otherwise coordinate issues resolution activities with varied stakeholders.
• Determine opportunities to automate business processes and functions. 
• Responsible for the development of business and technical process documentation and training materials. 
• Perform code review to see ensure adherence to standards.
• Requires up to 10% domestic travel to various locations that cannot be anticipated. 
• May work from home on hybrid-remote basis within commuting distance of offices in Miramar, Florida or Dallas, Texas.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer engineering, engineering, or related; plus 5 years of experience in job offered or software/application development.
• Requires experience in Enterprise Resource Planning, RDBMS (Relational Database Management System), SAP HANA, Vistex, PI, Oracle, SQL, XML, HTML, and Informatica MDM.
• Requires experience in SAP Application Development, ABAP, SAP Functional Modules, Supply Chain Management, JDA, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, building interfaces with external systems, warehousing process, Software Development Life Cycle, SAP ABAP (MM, SD, WM, IM, FICO Modules), Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms (WRICEF) objects, iDocs, Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPI's), Object Oriented Programming Structure (OOPS), SAP experience with ECC 6.0 or up, and pricing module.
