VP of Outbound Sales Overview: PlanITROI seeks a strategic high-level executive responsible for leading and strategizing all outbound sales efforts. The outbound sales leader will build, lead, and grow PlanITROI’s outbound sales strategy and process. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role is responsible for driving revenue growth to sell an outbound supply of refurbished goods. Ultimately, the VP of Outbound Sales will play a pivotal role, in shaping the company's sales direction and achieving corporate business goals and objectives. A successful candidate must have extensive experience selling through retail and wholesale channels within the eCommerce, retail channel, and B2B wholesale markets, with a superior understanding of pricing strategy to position PlanITROI as the leader in refurbished computer hardware devices.

This role is remote and will require travel.

 

Mission: The mission of this role is to sell refurbished devices directly to users and the wholesale market to maximize velocity and EBITDA and return to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, and document the strategy and process for an outbound sales plan, for eCommerce, retail, channel, and B2B wholesale channels
  • Nurture established relationships in the e-commerce, retail, and B2B wholesale channels.
  • Develop a competitive pricing strategy within the channels, to position PlanITROI as the leader in refurbished goods, not only in price but quality. Know the competition and track consumer behavior
  • Build, document, and execute a marketing strategy through retail channel partners. (ex. Amazon, eBay, Groupon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Rakuten, etc.)
  • Manage the outbound sales campaigns, refine targeting strategies, and ensure effective communication with prospects
  • Manage the sales budget, allocating resources efficiently
  • Forecast future sales trends in the wholesale market, analyzing the economy and trends in spending by channel
  • Work strategically with the Executive Leadership Team and Talent Acquisition in documenting and building an Outbound Sales Team, including titles, responsibilities, and compensation projections
  • Build KPIs and scorecards to capture outbound sales data for leadership and the Inbound Sales Team
  • Build and manage the strategy and process for the full outbound sales funnel in Salesforce

Requirements:

  • Must have established relationships with retail channels, wholesale markets, and B2B selling channels
  • Must have expert experience with retail, wholesale, pricing strategy, and execution
  • Must have experience working directly with channel partners and building pricing strategies tailored to each channel
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in formulating comprehensive outbound sales strategies and processes across diverse sectors, including retail, e-commerce, channels, and B2B wholesale
  • Must have experience with online marketing through retail channels. (ex. Amazon, eBay, Groupon, Best Buy, Walmart, etc.)
  • Must have experience building and leading an Outbound Sales Team with strong management and coaching skills
  • Must have expert experience in outbound sales data management, with the skills to build scorecards and consumable data for the inbound sales team and leadership
  • Must have experience building and managing a full outbound sales funnel and process to be built in Salesforce and managed through KPIs and metrics
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience in Salesforce needed
  • Must have the ability to travel
