Finance Analyst

We are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join our team on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract.

Your new role:

As the Finance Analyst, you will report to the Finance Manager, being responsible for assisting in the preparation and execution of the annual costing process for the Operations, Supply Chain and Spares Organisations and coordinating the worldwide regional costing process.

You will be able to work to deadlines set by the Finance Manager to ensure the finance department meets its demanding schedule and delivers a strong business support service.

What you’ll be doing:

• Calculating and maintaining standard product costs, Bill of Materials analysis for all new products in Pencoed and Pompano Beach plants.Costing of all new materials/products for the US Ex Ops and Spares Organisations.
• Executing the Year-end cost Roll including Manufacturing Standards and ICP (intercompany pricing) updates for Pencoed and Pompano Beach plants.
• Assisting the US Manufacturing plants for the execution of the annual standard costing process.
• Maintaining the worldwide ICP Database and coordinating the annual costing process in all the commercial regions (worldwide).
• Coordinating the annual costing process in all the commercial regions (worldwide).
• Preparing the R&D accounting entries for Pencoed and Pompano Beach plants during the month end closing process.
• Assisting in the preparation and review of the Global Spares SLOB (slow and obsolete) provision.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Fully or Part Qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) is highly desirable.
• Manufacturing Accounting experience is preferred but not essential.
• Must have good attention to detail skills.
• Must possess the ability to analyse large amounts of data and be confident to challenge any anomalies.
• Strong MS Excel skills and SAP experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Good communication skills demonstrable through face-to-face and remote interactions.
