POSITION SUMMARY

The Revenue and Analytics Manager functions as the strategic business leader of Revenue Management and Analytics for Ski Butlers globally. This position has the overall responsibility of setting our pricing strategy across all our product offerings and resorts to maximize total revenue, balancing volume and yield growth. In addition, this position will lead Ski Butlers in partnership with our President to iterate and improve our dynamic pricing model, benchmarking key industries and businesses that are “best in class”.

You will develop and oversee all processes associated with demand, revenue, inventory, forecasting, customer analysis and opportunity. You will develop and recommend a sales/marketing strategy as it relates to pricing and customer segments. This role will be a part of Ski Butlers senior leadership team and will report directly to the President. This will be a cross-functional role, as you will work in tandem with our sales, marketing and operations teams to maximize revenue within the business resources and constraints.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Develops seasonal and annual strategic action plans for Revenue Management across all Ski Butlers lines of business.

  • Works with the Corporate Revenue Team and Ski Butlers senior leaders to develop, implement and analyze pricing, inventory and sales strategies for various market segments.

  • Leads weekly revenue management meetings with Ski Butlers leadership team. Analyzes resort(s) lodging, lift ticket and presold pass data to identify trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals and provides critical input to leadership team for development of overall market sales strategy by business unit.

  • Leads CRM and Google analytics process to understand customer habits, trends, market and product preferences, etc., to assist marketing in targeted emails, programmatic ads and social messaging.

  • Use standard software applications, complex spreadsheet software, analytical tools and systems including RTP, Siriusware, Power BI, and Ski Butlers proprietary software.

  • Leads competitive analysis to ensure Ski Butlers is priced correctly in each market.

  • Research new products, tools and processes and provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of the revenue management and analytics functions.

  • Works closely with President, COO and Finance to develop annual operating budget and participates in monthly forecasting process.

  • Assists in annual revenue budget process and strategic pricing plan to reach revenue targets.

  • Leads Alterra Resort(s) integration as it relates to pricing models, loading and adjusting rates, and inventory management.

  • Works with Alterra Resort(s) marketing teams to better understand their consumer data and behaviors and how it relates to Ski Butlers overall revenue strategy.

  • Ensures our rates are accurate and displayed correctly on Alterra Resort’s websites, contact centers and group portals.

  • Represents Ski Butlers on weekly revenue management meetings with each Alterra resort we operate, taking key findings back to Ski Butlers leadership team.

  • Advanced knowledge of computers including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES

  • Required

    • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.

  • Preferred

    • Previous experience within the travel or ski industry preferred.

    • Excellent understanding of Revenue/Yield Management Concepts.

    • Previous hospitality/hotel experience is a plus.

    • Advanced Excel user (pivot, graphs, formulae, VBA).

    • Strong database analysis skills with the ability to understand how data is organized in multiple systems and how to retrieve appropriate data from source systems.

    • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, attention to details, pro-active in reaching goals.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Intermittent travel may be required for this position in the U.S. and Canada.

  • Valid Passport required.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Park City area base salary range: $67,000 - $93,000 per year

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may require you to work evenings, weekends and holidays on occasion.

  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position at least 20 pounds occasionally.

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment constantly.
