Compensation Pay Range:
$78,000.00 - $99,000.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
The Payroll Implementation Analyst is the primary point of contact for IT with the internal departments to confirm data accuracy and SOX adherence. This role will support the planning, scheduling and execution of IT post implementation testing and reporting. The Analyst will create requirements, extract data from systems and analyze data for remediation testing while coordinating program updates that are required as part of the post implementation process. This position will have a focus on analyzing payroll and HR analytics.
This role can be worked remotely in the United States.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Coordinate with functional teams to assure completeness of user acceptance testing.
Perform post implementation reviews of various supported applications.
Perform reviews of existing reporting to analyze data accuracy.
Analyzes testing scripts for completeness and coordinates with operational departments during User Acceptance Testing.
Performs SOX control testing process to evaluate control designs before program begins to ensure operating effectiveness.
Analyze process gaps and risks, conduct impact assessments, and develop reporting for functional team, IT management and IT development teams.
Work closely with both technology and business process owners to extract, analyze and document SOX controls. Implement changes to programs to address the remediation of processes to address key issues identified.
Participate and assist with the implementation of new systems and processes to ensure continued business process improvement, operational efficiency, and adherence to local, state and federal regulations and reporting.
Research and extract data from various sources using various databases with SQL tools to analyze program tables to assist in user acceptance testing and post implementation validation.
Participate in special ad hoc projects and analysis to support IT and business process owners.
Coordinate post implementation reviews with Finance, HR/Payroll and IT teams to identify any current program updates required for supported systems.
Apply best practices to identify process gaps and SOX regulations, then recommend any appropriate changes for remediation.
Assist with prioritizing projects in assigned business area.
Communicate necessary analysis to stake holders and prepare frequent project updates for management.
Prepare reports by extracting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Oversee multiple development program reviews.
Value internal and external customers and responds to their needs as they arise. Propose solutions to problems and consider timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing customer needs.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree (3 years of equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree)
Experience with analyzing payroll, finance, and HR Reporting.
Experience with MS Office and SQL tools
Analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex technical environments
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Strong attention to detail with demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Desired:
COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology) and ITIL Certification
Master’s degree with a minor in Information Systems or Accounting
