Job Description:

As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll play a vital role at DTN. We are looking for an individual that will be central to continually improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform for our organization. You will work alongside our Salesforce Administrator to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions. 

What you will be responsible for: 

  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits) 

  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers) to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements 

  • Develop custom user interfaces – including Visualforce/Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightening Web Components 

  • Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization 

  • Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development 

  • Integrate business applications to Salesforce, such as DocuSign 

What you will bring to the role:  

  • 2+ years experience in Salesforce CRM App Development  

  • Understanding of administrative tasks (ex. Creating profiles, roles, user security models, etc.) 

  • Experience with Lightning Components, Design System, APEX Classes, Process Builder, Triggers, Visualforce, Approval Processes, Aura, and Flow 

  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming 

  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, XML, WSDL and CSS 

  • Experience with Salesforce API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk) 

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients 

  • Holding active Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II)

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $78,750 and $105,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
