Get to Know the Opportunity:

The Business Management Associate is a key role in supporting the Investment Management COO organization by directly supporting the Head of Business Management and respective team. You will support strategy development, planning, project / program management, communications, governance, financial management, and ad-hoc support to the Head of Business Management and occasionally directly for the COO of Voya Investment Management. This role is critical to supporting business management functions for the Voya Investment Management COO organization consisting of Investment Operations, Analytics, Product, and Client Operations.

This is an opportunity to use and develop your skills in business management, executive communications, financial management, program / project management, strategy development and planning. We are managing a multi-million-dollar business transformation portfolio with a tremendous opportunity to support the transformation of our business through the delivery of strategic programs and projects, globalization, and other critical functions at the heart of propelling Voya Investment management into the future. You’ll have an opportunity to work closely with various business teams and often act as a liaison between technology, operations, and business teams. Your contributions will be measured by your ability to support communications, improve processes, streamline governance, support decision-making, and overall flexibility in providing support for day-day business needs. This opportunity will provide a unique and diverse vantage point to learn, develop, and be a part of a team at the core of supporting a large investment management firm with a growing global footprint seeking growth, innovation, and sustained operational excellence within a highly dynamic and exciting industry.

Please Note:  Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home or allows work to be performed in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule. 

The Contributions You'll Make:

  • Provide direct support to the Head of Business Management and respective Business Management team leaders.
  • Manage key PMO functions including financial / budget management, resource management, methodology, and program / project governance.
  • Development of strategic communications and presentations to support advancement of key strategies and transformational programs at all levels - from highly detailed to highly summarized “board level” communications.
  • Create, manage, and improve processes to optimize resource capacity & demand management, manage cost vs. benefits analysis and tracking, resource onboarding and management, and other key processes supporting business management.
  • Support day-to-day missions that involve fact-finding, problem solving, and analysis of information to “connect the dots” to support decision making.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in Investment Management preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business management, marketing, project management and/or consulting role
  • Experience designing and performing presentations to all levels management 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
