DTN is seeking a Product Manager for our Ag Sustainability business who has an exceptional track record of success and leadership to help lead the company through its next phase of profitable growth in Agriculture SaaS solutions. The role will develop and execute a comprehensive product and go to market strategy to grow our market share and revenues.
What you'll be responsible for:
Develop and execute a pragmatic plan Product strategy within the Product Management function using a consistent, structured data driven approach for market analysis, competitive differentiation, and product level business planning
Evaluate build, buy, and partner options, prioritized across the portfolio of opportunities that address customer needs and value
Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, vertical input, and competitive analysis
Design for customer value, customer growth, and margin
Drive a formal road mapping process seeking feedback from internal and external stakeholders
Deploy metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of product management decisions and go to market processes to drive continuous improvement
Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure solution requirements are met and products/features are delivered on time and within budget
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop product & solution targets, go-to-market strategies, and drive product adoption.
Delivery and ongoing validation of ICP and TAM
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, influencers and partners to gather feedback
Work with third party verifiers, auditors and registries and ensure our MRV processes support these efforts
Develop documentation with respect to our environmental accounting and associated processes
Research various methodologies and models used to measure and report GHG and other environmental impacts
Drive or participate in the MRV processes and data science approach to ensure accuracy of data captured and model outputs
What you'll bring to the role:
Strong understanding of and 7+ years of experience in Agriculture Product Management
5+ years of experience in Agriculture Sustainability (products, government regulation, public/private data sets)
Understanding of sustainable sourcing requirements and measurement, reporting, and verification program systems within the grains value chain
Working knowledge of state and federal government departments, agencies, and committees, including funding programs and key agricultural and value chain sustainability policies
Experience or knowledge of Grain Origination, Logistics, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, or Pricing Optimization preferred
5+ years of grain supply chain experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge and experience working with various sustainability standards, protocols, and models including GHG Protocols, SBTI, GREET, RFS, LCFS, etc.
Knowledge of carbon accounting standards strongly preferred
Familiarity with voluntary and involuntary carbon markets
Familiarity with leading ESG reporting frameworks and standards such as the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), the Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and others
Experience with ESG ratings agencies and reporting programs such as ISS, MSCI, Sustainalytics, CDP and the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB)
Demonstrable understanding of SaaS products and the ability to apply market trends and customer insights to drive product strategy
Proven track record of delivering successful product launches and achieving business goals
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with and build relationships at all levels of the organization and within customers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make strategic decisions
Proven experience in implementing product management best practices and establishing new functions within an organization
Strong understanding of market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis methodologies

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $119,000 and $161,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
