Your missions

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for translating vision and strategy for bank products, integrated payments and back-office solutions (and other strategic areas based on management discretion), in partnership with key stakeholders to deliver compelling products and solutions that meet & exceed business goals.
  • Institutionalize and strengthen the product led development process for Professional (in conjunction with Consumer PM) as a core process for product led/informed growth.
  • Build and manage a robust backlog and roadmap based on market insights, customer pain points, renewal feedback and data via intake and prioritization.
  • Represent the voice of the customer to understand their needs and meet regularly with customers to test concepts and solutions. Deliver and execute that roadmap via regular customer informed releases.
  • Guidance and influence on the teams they’re connected with to raise the bar for Taxwell.
  • Gather functional and non-functional requirements from the leadership team, customers and internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, customer success, training and support teams. Prioritize and incorporate them into the product roadmap.
  • Proactively seeks detailed understanding of the product strategy and vision to drive the short-term and long-term priorities for their product area.
  • Develop strong competitor analysis function across all segments in the profession and build effective materials for communication of this information internally
  • Understand market trends and stays abreast of technological advances to drive development and execution of the product roadmap that achieves a great product/market fit

SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or equivalent related business field required, MBA preferred
  • 7+years of work experience in product management for software products designed for business professionals in technical domains (tax, accounting, finance, etc.)
  • Experience and/or familiarity with common workflows in a tax & accounting firm
  • Demonstrated leadership and success in building go to market approaches for software products
  • Demonstrated ability to distill changes in the macroenvironment, market trends and competitive landscape and translate that into a product approach and delivery roadmap
  • Experience working in private equity backed business preferred
  • Independent self-starter comfortable with operating autonomously
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Creative problem solver with outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Strong quantitative and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects combined with strong follow through skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
