Description

Everi is looking for a multi faceted leader with experience in enterprise resource planning software development who will facilitate excellent communication and team leadership through the development lifecycle. As the Director of Software Development - ERP you will be supporting and leading our teams through the product lifecycle to ensure successful deployment of our ERP products.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Manages the department's technical leadership, reports on department progress, escalates team concerns, and ensures timely delivery of team tasks.
  • Assists direct reports in implementing solutions to possible roadblocks.
  • Consolidates effort estimates and provides resource allocations to upper management.
  • Manages process improvement roll outs and major technology shifts requiring cross-functional participation.
  • Directs teams in monitoring KPI's using reports and analytics; drives the identification and execution of improvement activities to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
  • Serves as a representative in development strategy discussions and participates in developing and executing department expansion plans.
  • Ensures software design features / objectives are consistent with internal customer and regulatory requirements.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.
  • 10-15+ years' experience designing, modifying, and developing ERP software programming applications and managing development teams.
  • Knowledge of the product pipeline, software tools, and processes.
  • Ability to successfully implement process improvements.
  • In-depth knowledge of release management and deployment workflow processes, from development release through to staging and production deployment.
  • Experience leading and overseeing diverse teams across multiple locations.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,000- $180,000 annually.
