Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Pursue collections of past due accounts receivables to conclusion
  • Work directly with customers, Billing Specialists, and Sales Representatives to settle disputes and address payment variances
  • Prepare, review, and distribute:
  • Monthly account statements to customers
  • Send client invoices electronically and manually
  • Provide accurate information on client accounts
  • Submit invoices via third party billing portals, check for status
  • Review and resolve unapplied cash, duplicate payments, overpayments, and refund requests
  • Prepare client reports when required
  • Ensure responsiveness to all internal and external requests and questions
  • Assist with providing backing for Auditors
  • Ensure client queries are sent to the correct internal department
  • Assist in the performance of credit reviews for appropriate extensions of credit


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Fluent German language required
  • Experience in a business environment; prefer experience or exposure to a functional area within Accounting (AR, AP, Collections, Billing, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization with consistent high levels of customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with an enterprise application such as Oracle would be a plus
  • Ability to handle confidential information with appropriate level of professionalism and sensitivity
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Individual compensation will vary, although a reasonable estimate of the current annualized base pay range for this position is 80,000 to 95,000 PLN.
