What you'll be doing:

The Content Writer will be responsible for copywriting and proofing digital and print marketing campaign materials across multiple industries that the firm serves. You will play a major role in keeping blogs, website pages, sales collateral, social media posts, newsletters, case studies, etc., up to date with the latest information and ensure optimization and value for the best reader engagement.

Content will be developed and aligned with marketing strategies that aim to promote the firm’s brand and business advisory services, generate leads and new business, retain current clients, build brand awareness, and align the message with corporate strategy. The Content Writer will work closely with the digital marketer and designer to deliver and promote impactful content pieces, measured by KPIs and engagement.

The ideal candidate will be able to transition between writing styles and provide samples of their ability to develop creative storytelling, thought leadership, and brand positioning/marketing pieces.

What you'll need for this position:

  • 1-3 years of B2B copywriting experience, with a strong portfolio of writing samples
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Outstanding communication and project management capabilities
  • A passion for content marketing and understanding its role in engaging users throughout the customer journey
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while managing deadlines and priorities
  • Knowledge of content marketing strategy, creation, and what makes content impactful, including design considerations
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to identify areas for content improvement
  • Experience in conducting keyword research and ideating new content topics
  • Finger on the pulse of current online marketing trends and strategies
  • Confidence in interviewing subject matter experts and drafting content independently
  • Familiarity with AP Style

Compensation: In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $50,000 - 75,000.

Remote Eligbility: This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at a Pinion office or attendance at offsites, as requested/required by the firm and/or your supervisor.
