About The Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst - Real Estate FP&A to join the Tailored Brands Store Financial Planning & Analysis team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting Real Estate, Store Operations and Executive Management. This position will be accountable for the analysis and recommendation of real estate deals (new stores, lease extensions, remodels, etc.) across North America, store sales forecasting and monitoring new store pipeline performance as well as other ad hoc requests, as needed. This individual will report to the FP&A Manager of Stores and will closely work with Real Estate, Store Operations, Construction, Legal, Corporate Finance and Field leaders to elevate and manage the store footprint through pivotal initiatives.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Leverage strong real estate finance/investment experience to analyze and develop recommendations for decision on lease renewals/expirations, new store, and remodel activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Real Estate Field, Upper Field, Construction, Visual and Store Operations) to build business cases for investment recommendations.
  • Develop forecasts for sales, KPI and cannibalization trade area impact for existing fleet as well as new store opportunities. Gather and evaluate all economic/financial data for input into P&L models.
  • Present real estate activity recommendations to leadership
  • Lead or participate in ad-hoc projects such as hindsighting, cannibalization analysis, sales forecasting, long range planning, fleet review and process improvements.

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 3 years minimum experience in Real Estate, Finance or related field required, preferably with retail industry background.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and scenario planning, with a strong focus on real estate underwriting.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to automate manual processes and reporting.
  • Understanding of financial modeling such as IRR, NPV and payback analysis
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments to gather data and feedback on business initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of creating executive level leadership presentations that effectively communicate company strategies.
  • Experience working in a results-driven, solution-oriented and fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Hyperion Essbase experience preferred.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location.

The starting salary for this position is $54,600 - $90,900 and may increase to $113,700 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
