Your Role: Senior NodeJS Backend Engineer Amsterdam
As a Senior NodeJS Backend Engineer Amsterdam you will will join one of the agile product teams, where you get to engineer the next generation of AWS/API based payment rails that will blow all competition out of the water. Working closely with the business you get to solve non trivial challenges that will keep even the most seasoned backend engineer happy. With the stack of DynamoDB, ECS, SQS, TypeScript, NodeJS, AWS/Serverless you have all the tools you need to deliver amazing code that is highly resilient, secure and scalable. Billions will be transacted on the global rails that you help to build. Talk about making an impact!

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- Experience designing and building end to end distributed systems
- Professional experience with Node.JS & Typescript
- experience within a modern Cloud environment
- Experience with NoSQL and Queuing technology
- Experience with ECS and SQS are pluses
- Experience building highly scalable and reliable systems
- You are used to writing and running your own code
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- A technical bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent demonstrated work level
- Experience with Golang is a plus
- Experience with AWS Serverless is a significant plus
- Experience in the payment industry is a plus
- Experience in start/scale-up environments is a significant plus
- Between €85.000 and €110.000 per year base on experience and added value
- + €20,000 in stocks options!
