Revenue Accountant

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and expand overall knowledge of US GAAP accounting
• Support the daily operations of the revenue team to drive quality and efficiency
• Assist with preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Collaborate with company’s global accounting teams to ensure appropriate accounting of various revenue streams
• Collaborate with Order Management, Sales Operations and Renewals team to ensure that transactions are properly reported in Salesforce and booked in NetSuite
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly close
• Assist with preparation and documentation of Company’s revenue recognition for material revenue transactions
• Assist with monthly analysis of actual revenue vs. forecast
• Assist with other accounting projects as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience in accounting/finance
• Bachelors Degree

Preferred Requirements: 

• Prior ASC 606 experience at a Software or SaaS based Company or public accounting experience involved with revenue testing is a plus
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Must have exceptional organization and communication skills
• Experience with MS Office with excellent knowledge of Excel
• Experience with SalesForce, NetSuite, and Monday is a plus
• Prior experience with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements is a plus

DOE, salary $75K - $80K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
