WHAT WE OFFER

The Intermediate Marketing Representative is responsible for the implementation of regional product strategies for the toll-produced systems products through Covestro internal and external collaborations.
This role ensures operational alignment and understanding within the overall Covestro, TUR, global and regional product strategies and helps to execute the sub-segment strategies (product and sales) with the overall global and regional asset landscape.


Major Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Cash-flow optimization via margin management (price-volume management)
  • Management of short and long-term supply/demand balances and inventory strategies
  • Responsible for managing overall toll-produced systems products processes including portfolio management, overall product quality / improvements, product commercialization, master data, product literature, specifications, and manufacturing issues.
  • Driving cost efficiency and reliability improvement throughout the entire supply chain, including raw material procurement, production optimization, product scheduling, distribution and logistics
  • Ensure supply chain and distribution networks consistent with the business and product strategies
  • Provide input and support to operational planning to optimize performance service level and working capital
  • Responsible for tolling agreements and supply contracts including all contractual administration and critical discussions
  • Supports and/or aligns negotiation/management of TUR procurement spend inside of Global Sourcing spend and co-producer deals (i.e. tolling and purchase agreements)
  • Identify regional investment needs in manufacturing in accordance with global regional strategy, provide input for business cases and help to drive initiation of projects.
  • Serve as key resource partner for commercial in strategy execution, operational execution, and business analytics
  • Responsible to research, gather, organize, and analyze competitive intelligence and recommend strategies to upper management to benefit Systems regionally and globally.
  • Ensure alignment between Production, Logistics, Procurement, Integrated Planning, SC&L, Marketing/Sales for toll-produced systems products.
  • Manage TUR product/customer needs at New Martinsville Pilot Plant including entering production requests, supporting raw material procurement, and working with the business to prioritize needs
  • Support other various tasks as needed in collaboration with TUR P&PS and NA Integrated Planning including back-up activities in times of PTO/leave

WHAT YOU OFFER

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, supply chain or business discipline with 2 years' experience or Master's degree with 1 years of experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Sound analytical, problem solving, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and work in cross-discipline teams, foster solid open dialogue and effectively collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Strong work ethic and drive
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and some pertinent SAP / BW query knowledge.
