Acquisition Support Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a leader on our team, you’ll oversee the execution of a space launch infrastructure roadmap to meet the client’s vision. You will work closely to assist with executing space launch PIO acquisition strategies to support roadmap execution. You’ll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to meet project milestones, and aid with all acquisition phases, to include RFIs, RFPs, IGEs, solicitation, technical evaluations, and engagement with the industry.

As an Acquisition Support Analyst, you’ll help determine documentation requirements for milestone and decision events, contributing to strategic planning with key clients and more. You’ll work on acquisition pathway analyses and be responsible for contributing to key strategy decisions. You’ll grow your acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From working with your team to building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, to obtaining concurrence, you’ll help deliver meaningful acquisition support.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience researching, interpreting, and applying Defense Acquisition System policies, principles, techniques, methods, and practices on a program, including cost analysis and proposal evaluation
  • Experience developing acquisition documents, including requirements documents, source selection plans, market surveys, and acquisition plans
  • Experience planning and executing industry engagements 
  • Experience providing recommendations for acquisition program teams on acquisition pathways, including documentation tailoring and baselining
  • Experience planning, tracking, and meeting due dates for multiple tasks across multiple programs 
  • Experience collaborating successfully with individuals at all levels to accomplish tasks within stated deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments while maintaining performance and quality of work products
  • Ability to effectively and concisely communicate using a variety of styles appropriate to target audience
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience providing independent assessments for programs approaching decision milestones
  • Ability to collaborate at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal direction or supervision, when needed
  • Possession of excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Certification at the Program Management Level I or higher

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
