As the Regional Sales Manager, Central you will develop and execute growth strategies and comprehensive sales plans to further reach the Water Treatment Instrumentation market with emphasis on the municipal, commercial, and industrial treatment segments. Reporting to the Sales Manager, Instrumentation, this role is open to onsite candidate in the Fort Myers, FL area or remote candidates and will include travel up to 75% of the time.

You Will:
  • Manages and directs all daily and long-range activities of Central Region to include sales management, customer relations, inventory control, proposal development and quotations, pricing strategies, and managing channel conflict.

  • Display leadership in the development of a sales channels including manufacturer’s reps and distributors.

  • Present on technical topics at industry trade shows and regional trainings.

  • Help create the annual orders and sales plan, quarterly forecasts, and execute plans to meet the WWQ AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets through strategic account planning.

  • Guide and implement plans to trigger growth. Manage Sales/Marketing efforts within the defined region.

  • Help customers select the equipment they require based on current product offering.

  • Provide input to marketing, product management, and product development to create leading-edge products and services positioned to leverage WWQ strengths

  • Understand the vertical markets, its customer’s needs, and the competitor landscape. Achieve industry-leading customer satisfaction through training, coaching and development.

You Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Chemical, mechanical or electrical engineer.

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales environments. Preferably in the water treatment industry.

  • Experience developing and executing a sales strategy, targeting large, multi-year accounts, and short cycle sales to small and medium sized organizations.

  • Technical knowledge of the water industry, including regulations affecting municipal drinking water plants and chemistry reactions in drinking water

  • Comfortable presenting on technical topics at industry trade shows and regional trainings.

  • Negotiated sales activities to promote brand sales while enforcing brand policies at all levels within external company leadership.

  • Verifiable record of growing market share.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
