Overview
The Structured Credit Service (SCS) team requires an oversight function for a certain population of deals. This position will provide the oversight function for the SCS product, and back up oversight to another product team; The position will be based in New York and have a reporting line to a Santa Ana, CA manager. The oversight role requires reviewing and approving ad hoc requests throughout the life cycle of a securitization. In the oversight role you will interact with Santa Ana and Jacksonville client services who run a population of deals and will ensure that the oversight responsibilities are completed timely. In addition, to enhance your knowledge base of the products to which oversight is given, they will be exposed to product level work.

What You’ll Do
Oversight functions include the review of: deal set-up (includes reviewing various aspects of set-up, investment instructions, checklist review and approval); review and sign-off on the annual review process for each applicable transaction; knowledge and awareness of deal terminations which will include executing any deal documents, checklist review and system approvals; review and Execution of contracts for new deals, amendments, terminations etc.; Holder or other escalated inquiries including incoming/outgoing notices; involvement in escalated inquiries which will include interacting with outside counsel, transaction management and product heads; changes in bondholder statement approvals (restatements/reporting changes); potential default review including interacting with outside counsel, transaction management, default team, product leads and client services
The Oversight position will also require: participation in oversight management meetings, governance committees; working with other teams such as Transaction Management, Default and Distressed Transaction Team
The SCS team provide trustee, collateral administrator, and custodian services for Collateralized Debt Obligations and other private structures. As part of enhancing your product knowledge, the exposure may include: deal knowledge of SCS transactions; review of compliance documents to ensure conformity to the transaction documents; perform ongoing maintenance of deal/account information across several bank applications; collaborate with other team members to address department projects; ensure compliance with Know-Your-Client and new account opening processes
Skills You’ll Need
Ability to read and interpret legal transactional documents, bank procedures
Proficient/advanced in both Word and Excel
Product knowledge would be preferred, but not required

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $80K to $130K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
