We are seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Engineer to work with our MEDLOG IT PMO customer at Ft. Detrick in Frederick, MD. This detail-oriented individual is obsessed with accuracy, and able to accept critical feedback because they are always looking to produce the highest quality outcome.
This individual will also be an imperative part of the Shelf Life Extension Program (SLEP) Implementation team for integrating SLEP capabilities into LogiCole. Specifically, we are looking for someone that can work well with a cross-functional team to ensure the team remains accountable to the work that needs to be accomplished.
The program is based in Fort Detrick, Maryland. This position is on-site three days per week, but expanded telework options are available for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis.
What You Will Do:
- Work with external partners to gather requirements.
- Work with internal and external development teams to implement/integrate single sign-on solution.
- Work with internal and external network engineers to enable access for users from various Federal Agencies.
- Work with system architects and within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the system architecture.
- Work with testers to validate system changes.
- Work with the team and external stakeholders to validate and implement SLEP Access for Federal Agencies PIV/CAC users.
- Be able to operate independently as well as seamlessly with the team to complete the mission.
- Communicate well on all levels to various government and contractor support personnel, Developers, Business Analysts, Testers, Engineers, Operations Administrators, and Leadership.
What You Will Need:
- A bachelor’s degree and a minimum (three (3) years of work experience in information technology systems development
- A Minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in information technology systems development can be substituted in place of a degree
- Experience with configurations of web and application servers
- Experience or knowledge of Agile practices or the SAFe framework
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Eligible for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- A degree in Bachelors Information systems management
- Currently hold a CASP, SSCP, or Security + certification
- Hands-on experience with PKI and certificate-based authentication
- Solid understanding of SSL/TLS, key store and trust-store
- Experience with troubleshooting issues related to SSL/TLS and certificate-based authentication
- Java programming background
- Experience with Defense Medical Logistics – Enterprise Support applications and support of DoD medical treatment facilities
The annual salary range for this position is $100,200.00-$150,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
