The Sr Business Analyst - Lean Six Sigma’s primary responsibility is to analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and lead projects to implement changes that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and standardize processes. This role will involve collecting and analyzing data, developing process maps, and using statistical tools to measure the impact of changes. This role serves as a mentor and coach to Lean projects across the business and will include training team members on Lean Six Sigma principles and techniques.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop process flow maps following industry standards, maintain documentation for process improvements.
  • Analyze current processes to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
  • Collect and analyze data to support process improvement initiatives.
  • Use Lean Six Sigma tools to measure impact and prioritize identified improvement opportunities.
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma projects to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues.
  • Use data-driven approaches to solve complex problems.
  • Ensure process improvements align with organizational goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement changes and mitigate risks associated with process changes.
  • Document the business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for those solutions that require a change to existing or new technology.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gain buy-in for improvement initiatives.
  • Implement best practices for process improvement while following a standard approach.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes by defining and measuring KPIs.
  • Assist in the development of a business case to support project funding.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status.
  • Train and mentor team members on Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on Lean Six Sigma.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement through engagement and coaching.
  • Serve as the key contact for the business in select topic areas.
  • Research and evaluate alternative approaches and recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in multiple systems.
  • Consistently models the Company Values and Expected Behaviors
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to facilitate Lean Six Sigma training and conduct workshops.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to use BI applications to track, monitor and report benefits/business impact.
  • Ability to use process mapping applications like Prime, MS-Visio
  • Proven track record of leading successful improvement projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing industry is a plus.
