- Provide oversight to acquisitions and internal staff
- Review financial statements and reconcile balance sheet accounts
As a Corporate Accounting Supervisor, you will primarily be responsible for supporting the Company’s ongoing growth through acquisition by providing oversight and accounting assistance to both our acquisitions and internal staff on an as needed basis.
Your Impact:
Gain understanding of acquisition’s business and financial transactions to ensure alignment with US GAAP and the Company’s accounting policies and procedures
Identify efficiency and internal control opportunities and work with acquisition to implement improvements
Review monthly financial statements from acquisitions outside of integrated systems for inclusion in consolidated financial statements
Review monthly EBITDA reports and research variances to provide commentary to
Perform monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and explain balances to management
Maintain proper cut off for new acquisitions and ensure revenue and expense are recorded to the correct entity
Assist and support acquisitions
Assist and support an internal team of 3-4 staff
Successful Candidate will have:
Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience
Accounting degree required
Public accounting experience a plus
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working in a paperless environment
Exceptional organization and time management skills
Self-starter, professional and assertive
Ability to handle a fast-paced, challenging work environment

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $70,000.00 - $110,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
