Job Description

SUMMARY: We are seeking a Market Research Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research to support Stride’s strategic initiatives. This includes executing primary research projects such as surveys and focus groups, as well as compiling and analyzing secondary research from publicly available sources and purchased reports. Your insights will directly impact our product development, marketing strategies, and overall business growth.

  • Execute all phases of primary quantitative and qualitative research projects, including questionnaire or discussion guide development, programming, quality checking, field and quota management, data processing, data analysis, and visual reporting.
  • Utilize statistical software and tools to analyze data sets, interpret results, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that clearly and visually communicate research findings to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Gather, review, and synthesize information from a variety of secondary sources such as industry reports, academic studies, market data, and existing internal research.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in the online education sector.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external research partners to ensure that each project stays on schedule and within budget. Manage stakeholder input and expectations across projects.
  • Manage relationships with external research vendors and ensure timely, quality deliverables.
  • Handle additional tasks as needed, such as contract management for research vendors and consultants.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in custom consumer/market research
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Q Analytics) and survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
  • Ability to clear required background check

Certificates and Licenses: None required

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Market Research & Insights experience in the Education industry or at a market research vendor/firm considered a plus
  • Experience with Q Analytics Software preferred
  • Experience with Qualtrics preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently, while being part of a team structure
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level.  Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections.  Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

We anticipate the salary range to be $57,519.75 to $121,792.80.  Eligible employees may receive a bonus.  This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors.  These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
