Opportunity 

We’re seeking an experienced Product Analyst to join our team and help drive a data-driven approach to product development. In this strategic role, you'll be instrumental in harnessing the power of data to understand user behavior, optimize product features, and contribute directly to our overall business strategy.

Responsibilities 

  • Leverage data from various sources to identify trends, synthesize insights, and recommend opportunities for product improvement.
  • Develop and maintain self-serve dashboards using Lightdash (or similar), empowering stakeholders with real-time access to key performance indicators (KPIs) for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, marketing) to translate data insights into actionable product development and marketing strategies.
  • Conduct A/B testing, analyze results, and provide data-driven recommendations to guide product iterations and enhancements.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to track product performance, user engagement, and overall business objectives.
  • Establish robust frameworks for data analysis and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain data models using tools like dbt to support comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience  as a Product Analyst or similar data-focused role (e.g. Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Analytics Engineer).
  • Strong proficiency with Mixpanel or other leading analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining self-serve dashboards 
  • Experience creating semantic data models or business data models using technologies like dbt or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex data insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
  • Proficient in using SQL to gather and transform data for analysis (familiarity with Python and tools like dbt is a plus) 
  • Proven track record of developing analytics frameworks to guide decision-making
  • A history of asking insightful questions that lead to the discovery of hidden data insights and inform strategic decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits  

The compensation range for this position is $110,000-$120,000 annually.
