Position Summary
The Senior Administrative Coordinator is a contracted position that provides administrative and organizational support to senior leadership. Handles a wide variety of assignments and tasks within a fast-paced environment while using sensitivity in keeping confidentiality and discretion.
Essential Functions:
- Provides executive level support to the office including but not limited to managing an active schedule of appointments; compiling and preparing correspondence; arranging detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and assembling documents for meetings.
- Researches, prioritizes and follows-up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to senior leadership including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Ensures leadership is well-informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follows-up appropriately.
- Oversees deadlines for advance distribution of materials prior to meetings for all relevant materials with participants.
- Other duties as assigned, including any swag related duties (shipping, receiving, organizing, etc).

Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- 3+ years related administrative support experience in a professional, fast-paced office environment preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Communications, Psychology, or related field preferred.

- Requires a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, initiative, and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding of the higher education environment, highly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines with frequently changing priorities. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced training in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat Professional and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Proven experience providing senior-level administrative support, including organizing and prioritizing tasks and scheduling meetings with strong use of initiative, sound judgment, independent thought and precise attention to detail. Leverage technology solutions to maximize productivity and success.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Work independently and foster a cooperative spirit within a large and/or small team of diverse cultures, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities.

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency.
