Mobile QA Test Lead

Currently, we are looking for a Mobile QA Test Lead to guide four Mobile Development Teams who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of Android and iOS applications. This role involves leading a team of QA engineers, designing and implementing manual and automation testing strategies, and collaborating closely with software developers to identify and resolve issues. The QA Lead will be pivotal in maintaining high standards of software quality and delivering an exceptional user experience.

If you join our team you will: 

• Lead test preparation and execution based on the test strategy and planning and according to industry best standards.
• Proactively improves processes to help deliver a better product.
• Creates and maintains standard documents to be used by the QA team.
• Plan, design, implement & execute verification and validation tests and report bugs in a clear and concise manner.
• Identify test features that should be automated.
• Work with senior stakeholders to help define test requirements.
• Daily and weekly reporting to senior stakeholders based on test progress.
• Identify any testing-related risks, issues and dependencies and manage escalations appropriately.
• Mentoring and coaching other members of the team.
• Representing QA in meetings with senior stakeholders. 

What skills we expect you to have: 

• 5+ years test experience and 2+ years as a Test Lead 
• Excellent understanding of test engineering best practices, methodologies, and processes.
• Experience using JIRA and Zephyr (or similar).
• Experience of working in an Agile SCRUM development environment.
• An ability to learn and adapt to new environments.
• Passion for quality and attention to detail.
• A willingness to lead own work streams.
• Keen interest in software quality and software testing.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Teamwork ethic with the ability to work collaboratively with others (technical and non-technical).
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to align to changing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
