Job Overview:
As an Internal Sales Associate, you'll be a key player in driving growth and success for our financial services organization located in Olympia, WA. You'll work closely with the Vice President of Branch Development to identify and recruit top Financial Advisors to join our business model and programs. The primary responsibility of this role is to work closely with the Vice President of Branch Development, partnering to recruit Financial Advisors into the business model and programs. The Internal Sales Associate provides a high quality, value-add sales and service experience. This role is a critical part of our organization's mission to provide world-class financial services to our clients, and you'll be working alongside a team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting through a variety of methods, including the use of online job boards, social media, searching multiple databases and conducting outbound phone calls
- Serve as the first point of contact with prospective advisors, articulate and sell our business model and the benefits of affiliating with Financial Advocates and our programs
- Screen advisors, by conducting phone interviews, based on financial institution’s needs
- Partner with, and communicate directly with our various financial institutions, regarding their hiring needs, prospective advisors and conduct timely follow-ups
- Consistently enter all sales progress, meeting notes and client contact into CRM
- Setting appointments and onsite visit coordination and support
- Work with the VP of Branch Development and Business Development Consultants to assist with current advisor succession and recruiting needs
- Partner with the VP of Branch Development and Director of Marketing in achieving their goals through various duties, included but not limited to: events, emailing, mailers, phone calls, meetings, etc.
What we’re looking for
We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional with a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in prospecting, building relationships, and driving growth. Specifically, they will have a proven track record of successfully prospecting and recruiting financial advisors, with a strong understanding of the financial services industry.
Requirements:
- 1+ years related work experience within financial services
- 1+ years of experience within a sales environment
- 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office suite
- Prior experience with CRM’s systems
- Prior experience working within a team environment and with co-workers who work remotely
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field of study
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferences:
- Series 6, 7, 63, 65 and or 66 licensing preferred
- Attention to detail and high level of follow-through
- Energetic and results-oriented
- Understanding of sales techniques
- Strong prospecting skills

Pay Range:
$26.15-$39.23/hour
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
