As the QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading our efforts to enhance software quality and reduce the dependency on manual testing. You will drive the strategic increase in test automation, foster a culture of quality within cross-functional teams, and ensure our software meets the highest standards of reliability and performance. Your role will be pivotal in minimizing defects, speeding up defect resolution, and making our complex codebase more manageable and robust.
You will guide the quality assurance function with a focus on automation and best practices, ensuring that our software upgrades are delivered with minimal crashes and defects. This role aims to decrease the escaped defect rate, increase strategic code coverage, and enable efficient defect resolution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to embed a quality-first mindset, implement automated tests that reflect product knowledge, and adopt Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to simulate complex configurations and environmental variability
This role has a base annual salary of $120,000-$140,000 plus a competitive equity and benefits package. (Salary to be determined by relevant experience, location, knowledge, and skills of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
