Senior Python Engineer (payabl.one)

payabl.one is the division responsible for uniting our services and bringing synergy to our customers by offering seamless experience regardless of the services (online payments, offline payments and/ or banking) or channel (UI or API) they opt for. Within this division, your focus will be on our customer facing platform along with other highly skilled and motivated team members.

Responsibilities:  

• Work closely with the Team Lead to identify the key architecture drivers and Non-Functional Requirements for a core customer facing product
• Match the best suitable frameworks and tools for the designed architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and other developers, to understand and implement business requirements.
• Constantly add value to the team by writing readable, testable and efficient code
• Maintain and develop engineering culture
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience developing high-load scalable applications
• Strong knowledge of Django, FastAPI and designing and implementing REST API
• Experience with technologies such as Git, Debian, Docker, MariaDB, MongoDB and preferably Apache Druid
• Understanding of distributed systems and integrations
• Experience in delivering good testing practices
• Implement solutions that minimize or eliminate performance problems, complexity, or solution fragility
• You can write robust and fault-tolerant software that runs smoothly and reliably
• Excellent communication skills and attention to details
• Upper-intermediate or higher English level
