Position Summary 

The Sr. Manager, Global Benefits is responsible for the execution and administration international benefits in approximately 20 countries across the globe, as well as benefits in the US.  This position is also responsible for HRIS administration in Workday as it relates to the Global Total Rewards function. This role is responsible for creating a best in class global benefits program in support of the Rimini culture.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for day-to-day management and administration of all US benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, life insurance, AD&D, disability, COBRA and 401(k).
  • Supports the local HR contacts with escalated questions on day-to-day management and administration of all international benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement/provident fund, and other statutory or voluntary benefits.
  • Makes recommendations to enhance benefit programs to management by studying trends and market practices.
  • Manage relationships with US & Global benefit brokers and advisors, ensuring high performance standards. 
  • Reconcile benefit vendor’s invoices; verify that all changes (additions, terminations and misc. changes) are accurately reflected.
  • Manage vendor interface file feeds to ensure employee and benefits data are uploaded timely and accurately; researches and corrects any discrepancies/errors.
  • Educates and communicates with local HR, employees and managers to promote our offerings in each country using various methods to ensure understanding (emails, TEAMs channels, benefit roadshows with vendors, etc.)
  • Fosters a high degree of collaboration with local HR contacts to address local or regional benefit needs.
  • Plans, prepares and executes annual US open enrollment event; update benefits information on intranet site/s.  Setup and testing of system requirements to manage annual open enrollment.
  • Communicates any plan changes to employees and conducts necessary enrollment meetings.
  • Ensure all Manages compliance testing, as necessary, for all global and domestic plans.
  • Provides research, documentation and reporting support for internal and external benefits audits.
  • Ensures plans remain in compliance with applicable statues and completes annual filings, audits, communications, amendments, and plan documents.
  • Works with employees to answer any benefits related questions.
  • Oversees global leave of absence programs, time off plans and wellness programs.
  • Other duties as assigned, including support with programs and offerings on the broader Total Rewards or HR team.

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology or an equivalent with seven (7) or more years of experience in international benefits administration.
  • Intermediate level excel experience including formulas (pivot tables, vlookups, date/time functions), modeling and analysis.

  • Ability to perform well within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires working on multiple projects at once, without compromising quality and service levels. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex benefits regulations and plans to employees in a simple and understandable manner.
  • Must be able to work independently, have exceptional organizational and attention to detail skills. 
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information. 
  • Ability to interface and effectively communicate with all levels internally and externally.

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 109k - 135k depending on skills and experience.
