What You'll do:

Work with Government Program teams and business users to understand business processes and requirements to assist in developing:

  • Transformation Roadmap – High level transformation roadmap aligned to DoD customer’s transformation objectives.

  • Process Hierarchy – Confirmation of business processes in scope

  • Solution Architecture – Solution Architecture for the proposed SAP cloud solutions including integrations and reporting.

  • Integration Scope – Validate integration scope including their security requirements for integrations.

  • Technology Architecture – Provide advice on Application Architecture, Instance Strategy that includes HANA cloud and custom application development/custom extensions.

  • Risk Analysis – Analysis of transformation project risks documenting architecture roadblocks, pain points and mitigation. Provide Decision, Analysis and Resolution (DAR) as a mitigation plan.

  • Governance Model – Provide assistance to DoD customer’s governance model to enable successful transformation project execution.

  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to run the program smoothly, provide leadership to the project team and interface with the customer leadership.

Who We are Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Solution Architect with a deep understanding of SAP technologies, particularly in the context of SAP S/4HANA. A strong background in implementing and architecting SAP solutions, including experience with system design, integration, and customization. Experience working in the Federal space is crucial, as it involves understanding the unique requirements, regulation, and challenges specific to government agencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 15 + years of experience with SAP

  • Working knowledge of the SAP federal space and associated regulations

  • Participation in more than 4 projects, including at least 2 in the roles of SAP Solution Architect in the past 10 years

  • Experience in working on enterprise solution architecture artifacts (e.g., Business capability modeling as part of business architecture or application landscape design as part of application architecture)

  • Prefer  at least one certification related to SAP S/4HANA

  • Knowledge in SAP integration tools 

  • Understanding of SAP extensions principles and options

  • Must be eligible to obtain IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).

Preferred Skills:

  • Active DOD Secret Clearance, or clearable

  • SAP S/4HANA certification

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
